HARTEST ART GROUP
Hartest Art Group is a small, friendly, and enthusiastic group of artists of mixed ability, meeting at the Boxted and Hartest Institute. Whilst some members choose to work on their own projects, they have a professional tutor who demonstrates each week for about an hour and provides one-on-one guidance. The demonstrations cover a wide variety of subjects, using various mediums, and have proven to be informative, inspiring, and often entertaining with much interaction! They also have occasional demonstrations by professional artists. There is also a significant social element to the club, with the opportunity to sketch and paint outside in pleasant weather at locations in mid-Suffolk, such as the Abbey Gardens in Bury St Edmund's and Pin Mill near Ipswich, on the river Orwell. This Group may have been disbanded.
